The Cove at Millbrook

According to the February 25, 2026 East Penn Press, the “Cove at Millbrook” subdivision was approved by the Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners at their February 5, 2026 Commissioners’ meeting.

This is the subdivision which is going to be built in the field located on Sauerkraut Lane, between Stout Drive and Macungie Road. This subdivision will share a common boundary with a number of Millbrook Farms residents who live on Canterbury Drive.

One of our residents who lives on Canterbury Drive has met with the Lower Macungie Township Zoning Officer and has provided the following information:

The developer’s surveyor has started to mark the boundary line between the new development and Millbrook Farms properties using survey stakes that have a fluorescent orange ribbon tied to them. The Zoning Officer has asked that these survey stakes not be disturbed.  (Removing or disturbing these survey stakes can result in civil or possibly even criminal liability.)

Our Millbrook resident has also advised us that quite a number of trees which are located on the development’s side of the boundary are going to be removed as part of the construction process, and some evergreen trees will be planted in the same general area.
